Botox® for Hyperhidrosis & Migraine Relief

We use Botox® injections (from Allergan) for both cosmetic and therapeutic purposes. Therapeutic treatments are performed for conditions such as migraine headaches and hyperhidrosis.

Hyperhidrosis is an excessive sweating of axilla (armpits) and hands, and it responds well to Botox® for many months, even up to 1 year.

Botox® injections are also a proven migraine treatment: they reduce the number of headaches in people with chronic migraines.

Botox Cosmetic® & Xeomin® to Treat and Prevent Wrinkles

The cosmetic use of Botox® (from Allergan) and Xeomin® (from Merz Pharma) is for facial rejuvenation — to reduce and prevent wrinkles. When applied skillfully and at appropriate dosages, Botox Cosmetic® and Xeomin® can restore a relaxed, youthful appearance without the side effect of a "frozen look."

Both Botox Cosmetic® and Xeomin® injections are most effective for two types of moderate to severe wrinkles: frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) and crows feet (periorbital lines, i.e. lines near eyes). They can be also used to soften forehead wrinkles, and to correct facial disproportions.

Botox® treatments have been perfected for nearly three decades now. Xeomin® is a similar product developed more recently by a German company.

Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers:
Juvéderm®, Restylane®, Lip Injections

Hyaluronic acid is a gel-like fluid polysaccharide (complex sugar). It is a natural component of skin and other body tissues, where it fills spaces between cells, providing moisture, cushioning, and suppleness. Injectable dermal fillers (soft tissue fillers) based on hyaluronic acid are the most popular ones. Combining with water, they gently restore lost fullness and smooth out deep lines.

Our dermal fillers include Juvéderm® (from Allergan; sometimes misspelled as Juvederm, Juvaderm, or Juviderm), Restylane® (from Galderma), and Fortélis® (from Merz Aesthetics). With several options at hand, we can choose the best product to meet your individual needs.

We use dermal fillers to treat deep wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines. Juvéderm® and other fillers are also great for lip injections (lip augmentation) — to restore the natural fullness of thinning or wrinkled lips, and for facial shaping, including cheek and nose augmentation. Deep facial scars, including acne scars, can also benefit from fillers.

Laser Vein Treatments: Spider Veins Removal, Cherry Angioma Removal, Small Varicose Veins Removal

Small veins in men's and women's legs are successfully treated with laser therapy. This includes telangiectasia / spider veins, small varicose veins, and reticular veins. Our highly-skilled laser technician operates the laser handpiece quickly and any pain is minimized by ice application. Our patients feel comfortable during the procedure.

Telangiectasia, cherry angiomas, and other vascular problems in the upper body (face and chest) are usually treated using IPL laser.

Laser Hair Removal & IPL Laser Hair Removal

While most people and practitioners talk about "laser hair removal," the procedure usually performed is in fact "IPL laser hair removal." In principle, both treatments are possible and both are available at our clinic. However, hair removal done using IPL laser is often sufficient, safer in the long term, and more cost effective.

In the IPL treatment, hair is permanently reduced or removed using red light or yellow light Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). Our top-of-the-line IPL laser machine features Advanced Contact Cooling, allowing the procedure to be relatively painless.

We perform facial hair removal as well as hair removal from any other body areas.

IPL Photofacial Skin Rejuvenation

IPL Photofacial Skin Rejuvenation, also known as IPL Photorejuvenation, is a very popular procedure, used for skin tightening, collagen buildup, and to reduce the size of large pores. It is performed using a green light IPL laser (Intense Pulsed Light).

IPL Photofacial also reduces scars, stretch marks, age spots / sun spots (pigmented lesions), cherry angioma, and upper body telangiectasia / spider veins (broken capillaries). It can be used for acne treatment and it can partially improve rosacea.

IPL Photofacials may be combined with Botox® injections to rejuvenate skin and restore youthful appearance.

Cryotherapy for Warts, Skin Tags & Seborrheic Keratosis

For some skin problems, cryotherapy is the best treatment. For example, we use cryotherapy to treat warts, skin tags, seborrheic keratosis (commonly called "senile warts"), and other skin lesions. Skin tags can be also removed using electrocautery. Both cryotherapy and electrocautery may be covered by MSP.
